You would have to compare "Now()" against the date in question and open
the file that contained it occasionally. rouennais wrote: Is there a way to have Excel automatically notify me when a date is approaching or has passed? |

: Is there a way to have Excel automatically notify me when a date is approaching or has passed? IMHO Excel is the wrong tool for that job. You've already got Task Scheduler in Windows; schedule it to pop up a reminder on the appropriate date. -- Stan Brown, Oak Road Systems, Tompkins County, New York, USA http://OakRoadSystems.com/ "If there's one thing I know, it's men.
