Default Formating Excel Spreed Sheet

I am creating a spreed sheet and I am using only columns A through G. I was
wondering how do you cut off all the other rcolumns (so you don't scroll and
only see columns A-G)?

You could hide those columns H:IV in xl2003 and below.

Edit|goto
type:
H:IV
and hit enter

Format|Column|Hide
