Default The number of characters in a "Screen Tip"

Is it possible to increase the number of characters I can use in a screen tip?

Thanks

Hi,

By screen tip do you mean toolbar button tip? If so the limit is 255
characters but you probably will need to change your screen resolution (in
windows, not Excel) to be able to see all 255. Problem is its on one line.
You can also buy a 30" monitor.

And possibly you might be able to change the Windows font size in a way that
effects the tip.
