I have an excel worksheet (Check request form), that I would like to use as a
fill in form for other uses to complete. I want them to fill in only certain
cells and the rest of the worksheet be locked.

Terri, select all the cells that you want others to be able to fill in and
then format, cells, protection, uncheck locked, then got to tools,
protection, protect sheet, now only the cells you had selected cnan be
filled in. You can also tab between the unprotected cells

And then add a password to the protection, so some bright spark can't
UNprotect it!
