Hi All,

I had a template with hard code formulas which takes 4 minutes of time to
open it. At the time of opening it has been doing calculating status at
status bar. (At this moment it doesn't carry input value for calculation even
though it has been taking 4 minutes time to open it).

I did Save As. It has been taking 5 minutes of time to store with another
name. During Save As it has been displaying calculating status with very slow
motion.


Up to this is one side of coin. Another side is as..
If I copy the data from data base and stored it on one of sheets which are
dependent for calculation references. Now I saved my template with input
data. Next time when I open this copy it has been taking 15 minutes of time
to open the template. During opening it has been displaying calculating
status with very very slow motion.

I've visited so many sites on this perfomance issue but I'm unable to follow
what to do.

Can any one have solution on the above issue it would be great for me to
share.

My Ideas are..
1. Automatic Calculation should be in "On" mode.
2. Instead of recalculating entire workbook when I change reference cell
value it should calculate only those dependent functions not all. (Most of
the calculations are refered to another sheets)

In other words
B1 calculations refers to A1 and C1.
B2 calculations refers to A2 and C2.
B3 calculations refers to A3 and C3. and so on..

If I change only A1 value then I wanted to do recalculation for B1 cell not
for B2 and B3.

Does any one have an idea on how to manage calculations through VBA
(otherwise any method) like above it would be great for me to share.
