It is also possible the other person you send the file to is using Excel 2003
or earlier. If so, they need to go to www.microsoft.com/office and download the Compatibility Pack. This will solve your problem. I would like to add that before my upgrade to Office 2007 I was able to receive an attachment ,make a chenge to it and hit save. I would then be able to go back to that email and open the atachment and it would have content that I had changed and saved. I can't save the attachment now in outlook since it is read-only. |
