Default Retaining Sort order in the Sort Dialog box

Is there a way to "save" the sort by order in the Sort Dialog box? I'm
working with several spreadsheets have groups of data that all need to be
sorted the same on a monthly basis. These spreadsheets are created using data
from other sources.

One way is to create a macro and then rerun that macro when you need to sort the
data.

Start a new workbook
Go to the sheet that should be sort
Record a macro (Into that new workbook) while you sort the data manually.
Stop recording
Back to that new workbook

Save the file with a nice name (SortByColA.xls (or whatever)).

Then when you need to sort any worksheet using the same rules as you recorded

You can open the workbook with the macro
Go to the worksheet that should be sorted
And run that macro (alt-f8, select the macro and click run)
