Default I want to use my scanner to copy into excel. How do I do it?

I have a document and I would like to copy it into excel by way of a scanner.
How do I go about doing this?

You'll have to use the OCR (optical character recognition) part of your
scanner software. Then when you save the file, look for xls for the file
type. If that isn't there, maybe txt or csv.
