Yes, I am looking for them as displayed in the spell-checker
"Mike Rogers" wrote: LHearn I know this is possibly a dumb question but, are you searching for the mis spelled version as spellchecker found it? Mike Rogers "LHearn" wrote: I am having a problem with a particular .xls file in the 2007 version of Excel. When you spell-check this particular document, it finds "mystery words" - they show up in spell-check but when you attempt to find them using the "find" feature, you are told that Excel can't find that word. When you spell check the same document in the old version of Excel (2003), these words do not show up in the spell checker. Spell check finds these words even when the cells are deleted or cleared. I've tried "finding" the words in formulas, values, and comments to no avail. Any suggestions? This is really frustrating the few people in the office that have the newer version of Excel since we use this spreadsheet on a daily basis. |
