Default Currency format for Excel 2007 not displaying actual number

For some reason, the cell that contains the sum total for about 38 pages of
grant sums doesn't show the actual number, but instead displays as a series
of #'s. Every other cell in that column is formatted exactly the same way as
that one, but the total is the only one that doesn't display the number
itself. I can't for the life of me figure out wth the problem is.

Any ideas? Thanx in advance.
