Default F9 problems when updating fields...

Hello,

Using Word 2003 under Vista Ultimate.

My 8MB document has a problem in a section. This section contains table
references. When I press F9 on the references (like Table 14), the whole
paragraph disappear from this page but reappears on the following page. On
the next page, I again select Table 15 (now), press F9 and the following text
reappears on the following page ! Aaaaaargh !

Any ideas?

Thanks
