Default Locked cells in Excel 2000

Hi

In Excel 2003 when you protect a worksheet you can deselect "format locked
cells" so that when you try to click on a locked cell in the spreadsheet you
can't.

Can you do this in 2000?

Reason is I have set-up a tab order in my worksheet so that users can easily
navigate to the data entry cells however if I accidently click out of the tab
sequence into a locked cell it looses the tab order - I know I can reselect
the 'named range' however a user won't?

Thanks and Merry Christmas. Silena

The function is deselect "select locked cells" which was introduced in 2002.

But, in any version..................

If you are using the Tab key to move to unlocked cells you do not need a "named
range" as long as your Tab sequence is left to right and top to bottom.

If you mouse-click a locked cell then hit Tab key the sequence will jump to the
next unlocked cell.
