Default Excel 2003

I have several spreadsheets authored in Excel 2000 that have a PfitData
formula used to develop extrapolation tables. When these same spreadsheets
are opened in Excel 2003, the formula results are erroneous. I rewrote the
formulas using the Linest equivalent and got the same erroneous answers.

What is kind of curious is that I have a portable copy of Office 2007 and
the same formulas work in Excel 2007 (compatibility mode).

Is there a fix for the problem we are seeing in Excel 2003?
