Default how can I restore a file that I saved over in excel

I do not have a backup of the file that I lost. I saved over the file after
deleting the information from the file that was opened and saved without
renaming the new file.

if you are working from a company and your file was on a shared network drive
and you left it how you wanted it over a night or over a weekend then there
is a chance that your IT team will have backed it up and will be able to
restore it fairly easily.

if it was on your own hard drive or you don't have any backup option then I
don't think you will be able to recover it.
