Default how do i restore an Excel file i saved over

i have clicked save instead of save as and wiped an excel file, how do i get
the old one back, im using office 2000

This time you don't (unless you've got a backup). Next time, by making sure
you've selected the "Always create backup" option when you first save the
file.
