Thumbs up Answer: How do I press enter inside a cell?

  1. Click on the cell where you want to enter text.
  2. Type the text that you want to enter.
  3. When you want to go to the next line, press the "Alt" key and "Enter" key at the same time. This will create a line break inside the cell.
  4. Type the text that you want to enter on the next line.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 as needed to add additional lines of text inside the cell.

Alternatively, you can also use the "Wrap Text" feature to automatically wrap text within a cell. Here's how:

    1. Click on the cell where you want to enter text.
    2. Type the text that you want to enter.
    3. Click on the "Wrap Text" button in the "Alignment" group on the "Home" tab. This will automatically wrap the text within the cell and create line breaks as needed.
    4. Type the text that you want to enter on the next line.
    5. Repeat step 4 as needed to add additional lines of text inside the cell.
