Last Cell Problem
Somehow a worksheet I have thinks that I have somethink in the last row
which is 65536. I checked that row and I don't. Meanwhile the worksheet is sluggish due to its size. I tried deleting the bottom 65000 rows but it hangs my computer. Is there another solution to this problem? |

Last Cell Problem
I use Excel 2003
CTRL+END will go to the last cell in the last row with any data. Try clear all - data and formatting - for any and all cells in that row and column. Also, why not just try and delete just row 65536 instead of 65K rows? "CJN" wrote: Somehow a worksheet I have thinks that I have somethink in the last row which is 65536. Last Cell Problem
CJN,
What is the last row of your data? What is the last column of your data? When you hit [Ctrl] + [End], what cell does it go to? Make sure to delete all rows and columns beyond the last cell of your data and then save the workbook. See if that helps. If not, maybe someone else here has some ideas. That didn't work. I ended up copy the active data into another worksheet and
deleting the problem worksheet. Thanks "Flick Olmsford" wrote: I use Excel 2003 CTRL+END will go to the last cell in the last row with any data. Last Cell Problem
Debra Dalgleish shares some tips on how to reset this last used cell:
http://contextures.com/xlfaqApp.html#Unused If you can't get this to work, could you copy the stuff you want and paste to a new worksheet. Then delete the old worksheet? Be careful if you have links between sheets. CJN wrote: Somehow a worksheet I have thinks that I have somethink in the last row which is 65536. I checked that row and I don't.
