Hi, I am using Excel 2003. In what circumstances would i need to do a
multiple field (say three) sort?

Many thanks. Trish :-)

Default Multiple field sort

If you have a list with non unique fields:

column a lastname
column b firstname
column c birthdate

miller alfred 1.1.1950
miller benjamin 1.1.1949
miller benjamin 1.2.1949

hope that's the answer you were looking
for, otherwise, try to give examples.

Carlo
