Default EXCEL 2002

I NEED TO CREATE A SPREAD SHEET WHICH CAN BE WORKED ON BY SEVERAL PEOPLE BUT
ONCE OPENED BY ONE PERSON CAN ONLY BE VIEWED BY THE OTHERS UNTIL THE PERSON
USING IT HAS SAVED THE INFO AND CLOSED THE FILE.

I have created one which presents others with "Read Only" copies BUT these
still permit them to make entries - which are then lost unless saved to a new
file.
Suggestions please

Click TOOLs on the menu and click SHARE WORKBOOK. On the EDITING tab click
to check box ALLOW CHANGES BY MORE THAN ONE... to turn it on.

The ADVANCED tab lets you set track changes options, auto updates and
conflict resolution settings.
