Default Z-axis legend

Hi all,
I am trying to make a 3-D graph and I want to put an axis label on
my vertical axis. When I format it so it reads vertically, the text
box squishes all of the words. It won't let me stretch the box with
the axis label in it. Any way around this? Thanks for your help.

Mike
