Trying to add a cell reference as a SQL Query parameter, but the
Parameters... button is disabled. If I do a web query, the button is enabled. Can we not use parameters with SQL queries? |

Your query needs to have a parameter in it. Most likely your query does not
require a parameter so XL has no way to pass it a value. -- HTH... Jim Thomlinson "M Y" wrote: Trying to add a cell reference as a SQL Query parameter, but the Parameters... button is disabled. If I do a web query, the button is enabled. Can we not use parameters with SQL queries? |

Is Microsoft Query the only place you can add those parameters? I haven't
been able to specify parameters for any of the OLEDB data sources, either directly or from the wizard. Is there a way to get to the Microsoft Query tool for non-ODBC data sources?
