Resetting view when hiding detail in outline level
Hi,
I have an Excel worksheet which has 4 outline levels (created using the Subtotals tool). My boss has noticed that when he expands one item at level 2, then expands a sub-set of that at level 3, then closes the level 2 item, if he then re-opens the level 2 the level 3 item is still expanded. He would like the view to re-set to hide the level 3 detail when the level 2 item is closed so it is "clean" when he next expands it. Of course he could do this by clicking on the '2' on the top left but there are times when he won't want to close everything. I have hunted through the menus and can't find anything that might achieve this - any ideas? Kind regards Victoria |
