Hi List,

I am having the following problem: As soon as I try to select point in a
scatter graph in order to add a trendline excel freezes and have to be shut
down with the task manager. Is this a known problem and is there a solution
to this problem? Best,

I suggest you delete and rebuild the chart

Version 2007. I downloaded the hotfix
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/938538) from
http://thehotfixshare.net/board/inde...s&showfile=366.
This seems to solve the problem
