Default Macro vs Shared Doc

Greetings,
I greated an Excel doc with some macros assigned to buttons on the
worksheet; nothing fancy just some sort data commands. I recently activated
the Track Changed function on this doc which means that the doc is now
"Shared".
When I open the doc, I get a message saying that the Macros cannot be edited
or viewed in Visual Basic. That doesn't bother me really. The problem is
that now the macros freeze the doc when I click on any of the buttons. Can
anyone help me on this?
BTW, I don't know if this is important or not, but the doc was created on my
computer and then transferred to another computer. Maybe there's a problem
with me being the Author and the doc being on a different computer, but
that's a stretch.
Thank you.
