Default 1 is converted in 0.001 in all excell files

in my all exell files: old and new: when i put any numeric value and press
enter it is displayed in fraction . For eg. 1 is dispalyed as 0.001
I want to remove this coversion but dont know hoe.

Click Tools Options Edit tab
Uncheck "Fixed decimal" OK
(It's probably checked for 3 d.p.)
