Count Unique using Pivot Table
I have underlying data that looks like this:
Region Cust # Creat Yr Sl Year Month Sales MW 100 2007 2007 5 $500 MW 100 2007 2007 12 $700 MW 101 2005 2005 1 $100 What I want to get to in my pivot is a count of new customers by region: Region Create Yr Sales Yr 2005 2007 MW 2005 1 0 MW 2007 0 1 I saw the posts referencing http://www.contextures.com/xlPivot07.html#Unique however, the underlying data is coming from a non-Excel source. Is there anyway to obtain these results in a pivot without creating an additional column in the underlying data. Thank you, Beth |
