Excel Dates
I have a series of rows with a number of columns. Each row has a different
day within the same month in one of the columns. Activity Data goes into the second column. When I enter the date I must enter the day and the month to assure the row reads 22 July. If I just enter 22 the cell defaults to January. Is there a way to have the cell default to the current month without having to enter the month as well as day? |

Excel Dates
Excel has no way of knowing that 22 is July 22.
Suggest you enter as 7/22 which is only a couple of keystrokes extra assuming you want the current year as default.
