I'm trying to write a macro on Excel version 3 but the Stop-Recording tool
bar doesn't appear after clicking on Record. After researching a number of books I've still been unable to solve the problem. Does anyone know how to make this tool bar appear? I need it to click on the relative reference button. Oct 25, 2007 |

Click on Tools | Customize and check the "Stop Recording" Toolbar.

ToolsCustomizeToolbars.
Select the Stop Recording Toolbar. Start Recording a macro then hit the Stop button. DO NOT hit the "x" to stop or you will lose the Toolbar again.
