Default how do you assign a macro to a command button in Excel 2003

Click VIEW in the menu and select TOOLBARS. In the list of available
toolbars select the CONTROL TOOLBOX toolbar.

Click the first button on the toolbar, the one with the pencil, triangle &
ruler, to activate design mode.

Right-click the command button and select VIEW CODE.

You can either write the macro or assign an existing one to the buttons
Click event.

Is the button from the Control Toolbox.

Follow Kevin's instructions.

If button from the Forms Toolbar just right-click on it and "Assign macro".
