Default Pivot Table does not remove old data when refreshing

Sometimes I re-use the same pivot table, but just change the data. The
column headers are always the same, but the row "headers" change.

When I refresh the table, the new data comes up properly, but the old row
headers remain in the drop-down lists at the top of the table.

Does anybody know how to "purge" the old data from a pivot table?

Thanks

See instructions at Debra Dalgleish's coverage of that topic:
http://www.contextures.com/xlPivot04.html

Does that help?
