Default how do I highlight the cell I hyperlink to?

I am hyperlinking cells in excel however because of the amount of data on the
row I need the cell to be highlighted to stand out.

Default how do I highlight the cell I hyperlink to?

The cell with the hyperlink should be obvious as it will show up (normally)
as blue underscored text. You'll have to format the cell that it's
hyperlinking to using Format | Cells and deciding how you want to highlight
it - via a change in text color or cell interior coloring ([Patterns] tab in
pre-2007 Excel, [Fill] tab in 2007).
