Default converting CSV files

I want to download my bank statement and then import it into a cashbook program
From the bank I need to download as a CSV file but the cashbook program
needs QIF file
Can this be done? And if so, does anyone know how to do this?
Thank you

QIF if a Quicken file. You would be better off posting this to a Quicken
newsgroup. Or, even better, google "convert CSV to QIF file"

Does the bank offer the ability to download a QIF file also? If so, perhaps
the simple fix is to download the .CSV version and the .QIF version?

I've looked at writing code to convert from CSV to QIF before and it's a
rather complex process and the Quicken folks aren't all that helpful in
providing the necessary information (although it is available) to do it.
Plus they changed format of their files during some version changes of
Quicken, so it's also Quicken version dependent. I think Fred Smith's
suggestion of finding a Quicken support group or perhaps contacting Intuit
and asking if they have such a tool is probably your fastest way to a
solution.

But a quick Google for "csv to qif" turns up this rather promising page:
