When I open a normal excel file, it opens the file in mulitiple window and
each file it opens has a different view of the same information. |

How do I stop a file from opening in muliple windows?
You have used the New Window feature and saved the file.
Let's say you have ABC.XLS :1 and ABC.XLS:2 opened Close the :2 file and now do a save When you next open ABC there will be just one view of it. best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme Microsoft Excel MVP www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "Callie" wrote in message ... Just to add to Bernard's response...
Select the window you want to close and hit ctrl-w. Remember to save the workbook with the layout you like. Callie wrote: When I open a normal excel file, it opens the file in mulitiple window and each file it opens has a different view of the same information. -- Dave Peterson |
