Black Background is much better for the user's eyes than white, therefore I
believe there should be an option to change the background color of Excel Sheets without the need to change the color of cells OR insert background pictures, simply going to tools, options and change background color. This option, should also automaticaly change the text color to white. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Printing a black background/white foreground worksheet is going to be pretty
toner intensive, expensive too over the long haul. And if you're using an ink jet printer of sometype it will not only be expensive, you're going to have to hang your prints out to dry. Just a thought... -- Kevin Backmann "ZePortouga" wrote: Black Background is much better for the user's eyes than white, therefore I believe there should be an option to change the background color of Excel Sheets without the need to change the color of cells OR insert background pictures, simply going to tools, options and change background color. Like with AutoCad, a black background does not necessarily mean you'd have to
print it like you see it. Black would be white (background) and white would be black (text) and any other color would be ... well, any other colour! In Windows 7: StartControl PanelAppearanceEase of Access CenterSet up High Contrast
The short-cut key is: Left Shift + Left Alt + PrtScn This will toggle your entire system (including excel/word/etc.) to a high contrast appearance with black backgrounds and white text. It looks a bit clunky compared to the usual windows look, but I'm guessing pain relief will trump that. Hope it helps. Quote:
