Default Send as E-mail Document format (Excel 2007)

Hello!

Is there a way to change the default format of a document sent using the
Send - E-mail function in Excel and Word 2007?
It's possible to the change the default Saving format to, say, Excel
97-2003, but this does not seem to affect the format used when using the Send
function.

TIA
