Default Transposing Rows and Columns Using Paste Special

Is there a limit to the number of rows and columns that I can transpose? If
so, is there a way around this? I am currently trying to transpose 6 columns
with 880 rows to 6 rows with 880 columns, and I keep getting an error message
that my destination size does not match copy size.

Unless you are using Excel 2007, you would be limited to a
maximum of 256 columns x 256 rows because previous versions
of Excel have 256 columns which is where the limitation comes from.
