Default Excel Problem

Hi I am sure this is so simple but I am stuck!

In sheet one the cells are formatted with different fill colours and numbers
in them. I need to put a formulae in to different work sheets in the same
book that will pull through the number and also the fill colour. Can anyone
help please

Formulas don't work that way. They bring back values--not formats.

As has been already said, this is not possible (easily) with formulae,
but if you were to group your work sheets together (shift or ctrl and
then select worksheet tabs) you can apply the settings you want to all
the worksheets at once ...

Might help

Hi Matthew - thank you. I do know about group mode but for this particular
job - that would not work - because the cells are going all over the place
over the 13 sheets! I have had to settle for a macro - it works but looks
very clumsy!

thank you ;o)
