Default How to determine if a cell contains a value or a formula?

I have data that goes from projections to actuals. I would like to identify
either through a formula or conditional formatting whether a contains a
formula or has been over written with a value.

Select all the cell you want to examine and press F5.

Click the SPECIAL command button in the lower-left hand corner of the dialog

You could then format those selected cells with a shaded interior or
something...
