Default suggestions for designing multiple workbook models

Does anyone know of any resources that provide advice on how best to
design multiple workbook models that involve multiple users?

I'm looking for guidance on topics such as naming files, use of
defined names, tips to limit linking errors, tips on distributing out
single worksheets (breaking links, copy + paste, etc.)

Any help is appreciated.
