Default Freezing Panes In Excel 2007

Is there a way to freeze both the top row and left column of a worksheet?
When I try it undos one to do the other.

Default Freezing Panes In Excel 2007

Select the cell below and to the right of where you want the freeze to be,
and then do the Freeze Panes.
