Default Pivot Table refresh causes the sort to look weird, help please

Greetings, I have a pivot table with order numbers in the "fields" column,
Column "field" is work week number, and Data item is the sum of outstanding
quantity.

The pivot table was working well, it would sort in column '38' and '39' etc,
with the quantities resorted by the corresponding column. But as new data is
added to the pivot table, it appears at the bottom of the table, and does not
follow the original sorting. The sequence is broken.

What I am trying to do is to sort quantities by week, and when a new week is
added I would like the table to resort, not just stick the data at the bottom
of the pivot table.

The field setting on the 'fields' settings is set to none. The field setting
on the column 'field' is asending, and the data items are set to sum.

Why does the pivot table not recompletely resort the table based on the
original criteria?

Thanks in advance!
