Dear Sir,
Thank you for setting up MS Office 2007 suite online at this website. This has provide valuable user experience to many groups of people such as: 1. Prospective new user (customer) 2. User of earlier version of Excel 3 User of other type of spreadsheet. By keeping this service online at all time, it could help non Excel 2007 users in the following ways: 1. Check and confirm a program bug of the earlier version by testing the same feature online 2. When new ideas crop up in the mind, it is helpful for the user to check if that feature is already there in the latest version before submitting the suggestion and feedback 3. Continuous testing of latest version of Excel beyond Beta period to discover new ideas of doing things by willing users all over the world. I strongly believe that, product improvement is a continuous process of user requirement feedback and the research and development work carry out by the Microsoft software developers. By harnessing various ideas and knowledge from various sources over a period of time, Microsoft is poised to produce even better Spreadsheets for tomorrow. In order to achieve this goal, there are several improvements that could be done to on the existing online service: 1. Enable the testing of the full features of the Excel 2007 The present setting only allow the user to test at a single page. 2. Allow pasting and importing of external data to the test file for data manipulation. 3 Allow saving and retrieving of the file at MS directory for a limited period of time. 4. Allow testing with other file types that Excel could open online to determine the speed and performance 5. Improve the speed of the Citrix program as technology progress. The ultimate goal is to make the online testing experience the same as testing a program that is installed at the PC. If the upgrading of the existing URL is not feasible, I would like to suggest for a new research and development program for the Non Excel 2007 who is willing to participate in providing valuable product feedback and new ideas.. This could help to gather user experience and new ideas worldwide for future product development and upgrade. I hope my suggestion is helpful for Microsoft in the long run to maintain its worldwide leadership position in providing the best spreadsheet for the users. Many Thanks Low Seng Kuang A36B58K641 ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
