This is probably a really simple question, but I can't find the answer in the
"Help" feature. I am using Excel 2003. Using the page break preview, I am selecting a portion of the page to print. But when I print it, the portion I selected appears on the page with a border around it. I can't figure out how to get rid of this border. The cells are formatted for no border, so that isn't the problem. Obviously, Excel adds the border to your selected print area, and like I said, it's probably quite easy to get rid of. But I can't quite figure out how. Thanks, Paul |

When you're in page break preview Excel indicates the print area and pages
within it with a bold border. That's just how the feature works and it seems a good way to do. But that border does not appear in the printout. -- Jim "Paul Allor" <Paul wrote in message ... | This is probably a really simple question, but I can't find the answer in the | "Help" feature. Jim, that's what I assumed at first, but when I print, a border does appear.
It's not the same thick border shown in the preview -- it's a thinner black border -- but still very much there. I'm looking at it on a printout right now. :) |

Okay, I admit I didn't do a printout just a print preview. But now I did a printout and...no border<g. I don't know why you're getting one, sorry. It goes away when you print from the Normal view I hope? -- Jim "Paul Allor" wrote in message ... Jim, that's what I assumed at first, but when I print, a border does appear.
