Whenever I try to put parentheses around a capital C, like this: (C), in a
column in my worksheet, it converts it to a copyright symbol and I can't figure out how to overrule the conversion. Can anyone help? Thanks, Gail |

That is part of Autocorrect... Look at Tools - AutoCorrect and delete (or
better modify) the autocorrect on (C). -- HTH... BTW, if you want to keep Correct intact and simply
use UNDO ( Ctrl+Z) immediately after entry. If you have an event macro running you cannot use UNDO. AutoCorrect applies to all of Office, so what is good for MS Word in not so good for Excel. -- HTH, David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP -- Excel My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm "gailrolfe" wrote in message ...
