You could find where the add-in is installed on your home computer, copy it
to a flash drive (if you're allowed to use the USB ports on your work
computer, that is), copy it to a directory on your work computer which you
have access to, and install it using Tools menu Add-Ins Browse.

But if kdaniel were really nice <bg, he would have come back to this
post
and
said: "Hey, I just found the .charting newsgroup and reposted there.
Please
don't respond to this post."

(I don't see these kinds of warnings very often--but they do happen
(which
is
nice!).)

In fairness, Daniel's post in the charting group appeared after this
one.
Presumably he discovered that group after making this post. I saw
the
post
first in the charting group, because that's the one I read first,
and
I've
answered it there.

Please don't multipost. Crosspost if you must, but in general if
you
ask
the question in .excel.charting (which you have done), that will
be
your
best bet for this type of question.

I would like to chart some various housing compounds based on
rental
rate (y) vs their size, in this case bedrooms (x). I can get the
look
and results that I want, but I can't get the label of the
compound
(A,B or C) next to the data point.

I have never used scatter graphs before, so I'm not sure if this
is
the correct path. Should I be using a scatter graph?

Sample
Compound Bedrooms Lease
A 4 16,000
B 4 18,000
C 5 19,000

Thanks in advance.

Wow look at all the reponses about cross posting. Sorry, absolutely
right I didn't know about the charting newsgroup until after.

By the way....anyone want to offer advice on how to solve this? ;-)

I did ust that add in program that someone had mentioned. Works great,
but I can only use that at home. I can't add untested software to my
office comp. Big international company you know.

Thanks Jon. I'll try that next week.
