Default low speed problem

Hi guys,
I'm working with an Excel file consisting of 8 worksheets, each one having
an average rows of 6000.I'm applying many regular formulas, array formulas
but no macros or function and concequently the speed of calculation is too
low and kinda boring.THE iTERATION SETTING FOR MY EXCEL IS:
MAX. ITERATION :100
MAX. CHANGE :0.001
and my systems specs a
Pentium(R) D CPU 3.00 GHz
2.99 GHz 504 MB RAM
HARD 150 GB
I was wondering if you guys know how I can speed up the calculations in my
file!!
thanx in advance

As a guess you have surpassed the smart calc limit of 65k dependancies so
that your spreadsheet requires a full call every time... Check out this
link...

http://www.decisionmodels.com/calcsecretsf.htm

That site has a lot of other good info in increasing speed, memory issues
and such...
