Does anyone else have Excel crash when they try to scroll with the mouse wheel?

It's very annoying, I had about 10 crash reports yesterday because I'm so
used to the scroll wheel. I simply scroll up or down several times with the
wheel and Excel will eventually crash.

It's a Microsoft mouse with Microsoft drivers, and the drivers are being kept
update to date with Microsoft Update.

If swapping anything out was an option, it would be Excel 2007.

And it doesn't crash if you scroll using pgup/pgdn or using the vertical
scrollbar?

Does it crash on all your workbooks or just a particular workbook?

Do you have lots of objects in that worksheet? Maybe it's a display problem?

Does it happen if you start excel in safe mode?

Close excel
windows start button|Run
excel /safe

Then test a bit


No. I don't have any good guesses, but maybe more information will help someone
else help you????

If this doesn't help (and I bet it doesn't), you may want to give some
specifics--version of excel, mouse hardware and mouse driver version (and maybe
version of windows????).
