Scrolling with mouse wheel crashes
Does anyone else have Excel crash when they try to scroll with the mouse wheel?
It's very annoying, I had about 10 crash reports yesterday because I'm so used to the scroll wheel. Or maybe a different mouse driver?
If this doesn't help (and I bet it doesn't), you may want to give some specifics--version of excel, mouse hardware and mouse driver version (and maybe version of windows????). Scrolling with mouse wheel crashes
It's a Microsoft mouse with Microsoft drivers, and the drivers are being kept
update to date with Microsoft Update. And it doesn't crash if you scroll using pgup/pgdn or using the vertical
scrollbar? Does it crash on all your workbooks or just a particular workbook? Do you have lots of objects in that worksheet? Maybe it's a display problem? Does it happen if you start excel in safe mode? Close excel windows start button|Run excel /safe Then test a bit No. I don't have any good guesses, but maybe more information will help someone else help you????
