Default Drop Down Lists

I think I have a good one here. I have a drop down list, say in cell "C5",
that pulls/populates a bunch of different codes from another sheet (called
"SCHDC Codes")in the same workbook. Now I have another sheet (called "NHDC
Codes") also in the same workbook that has a whole other set of codes.

What I would like to do is, lets say if cell "A1" has an "X" in the cell, I
would like the drop down list in cell "C5" to populate from the "SCHDC
Codes"...If cell "B1" has an "X" in the cell I would like the same drop down
list in cell "C5" to pull from the "NHDC Codes" rather than the "SCHDC
Codes"...

I hope I explained this good enough. Basically I need the drop down list to
change info based on an "X" from two different cells.

Is this even possible? If so, How could I accomplish this task?
