dear all, please help me. i cannot open file .xsl (excel) directly when i
click. all files .xsl only can open and view ;
after open excel application, then click open file, then search file and
then select file then open.
why i cannot open directly?any file corrupted or missing or wrong setting?

I'm having some sort of similar problem now. I was using microsoft office
2003 previously and there was no problem and after i installed office 2007,
when i click .xls files it just shows the loading icon on the mouse and won't
open. I have to open the excel program and click open file to open the files.
I tried saving the file to excel workbook format and it can open. And
checking/unchecking the 'ignore other applications that use DDE' doesn't work
for me.
